Part 2 : The Park

If you do not want to jog along the beach, you may try to do so around the Recreational Park. It has specially designed path and pedestrian walk around it. You can run or walk at any time as you wish. This free facilities are open 24 hours. There are some people having their own activities like jogging and walking during night time around the Park.

Food Courts/restaurants at Batu Buruk Public Park

The Park is divided by a row of food courts which are serving local foods, beverages, cuisines and also western foods such as steaks or chops.

The main section of the Park has a stage for cultural or modern stage shows and a small rostrum in the opposite site.

If you are the lover of fast foods, the Park has A&W Restaurant

 and as well as Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant.

Besides, there are plenty of stalls and peddlers selling light drinks and local fast foods around the beach.

Surprisingly, the State's General Hospital known as Hospital Sultanah Nurzahirah stands just next to the Park and not far from the Astroturf Hockey Stadium

 and the Olympic size and standard Swimming Pool.

 Just opposite the trunk road is the City Campus of Sultan Zainal Abidin University

 The Park also has a Lawn Bowls field opens for public.

 

Below are some view of the Park which attract visitors in the evening for sight seeing and light sports activities.

 

Clearly and beyond doubt that the beach of Batu Buruk and its Recreational Park are the best place for rest, sight seeing and recreational activities.
